How to Make a Worm Gear Winch Feed Wire Quickly
Question:
I am interested in the DL11011. Is there a model that has a different ratio so it works faster? Also, I want to use line not wire. CAn I use that on your spool?

Worm gear winches don't move quickly unfortunately. However, the part # DL11011 that you referenced has a hex drive that will allow you to use a powered rill and a 5/8 inch socket to allow the winch to work much quicker than by hand.
This winch is only rated for use with a wire cable like the part # DL24043.
