How to Pick Out Replacement Brake Assemblies for a Trailer

I am looking for brake assembly for a1999 jayco 263rks will the ones for 6000 lbs axel work. I cant locate axel size but the gvrw for rv is around 10000 I know they are 12 inch. thanks

To pick out the correct brake assemblies for your trailer you need to know a few things.

You will want to measure the inner diameter of your hub/drums and the depth of the drums to determine what brake assembly dimensions you need. See picture.

You also want to determine what the bolt pattern is of your assembly mounting flange. The standard for a 12 inch assembly is a 5 bolt pattern.

You will need to pick out a left hand assembly like the part # 23-459 and then a right hand assembly to match it like part # 23-458.
