How to Know if a Trailer Hub with a 5 on 5 Bolt Pattern Would Fit a Trailer Spindle
Question:
I have a M100 trailer with 5x5.5 bolt pattern and want to replace it with a set of hubs that have a 5x5 bolt pattern. Can I justreplace the hubs or do i need acomplete axle? Dont care about the parking breaks since someone already pulled that out.

If you take off your current hubs and find an inner bearing of L68149 and an outer bearing of L44649 then yes, you could replace the hub with a # 84550BX and you would have a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern like you are looking for.
Or, you can use a dial caliper to measure the dimensions of the spindle on your trailer. If where the inner bearing rides measures 1.38 inches and where the outer bearing rides measures 1.06 inches then this hub would fit.
