Will Light on Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 Go Off After Key is Removed
Question:
Re my Tekonsha Prodigy P3 trailer brake controller, I noticed the LED with logo continues to burn stay on even after I turn off the ignition and remove the key. Does the light always stay on or will it eventually go off? I do not drive my f150 every day and I do not want the controller to run my battery down. I saw nothing in the instructions about this. It appears to be a very good brake controller. Thanks.

Most brake controllers, like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195, will stay active for several minutes after the vehicle is turned off. They will eventually go into sleep mode so you should have no issues with it running down the battery on your Ford F-150.
