Which Prodigy P3 # 90195 Brake Controller Install Video is Best for Installation in 2010 GMC Sierra

What video should I watch for my 2010 GMC Sierra p3 installation. I am guessing its the 2008 GMC Sierra video, I just would like to verify.

You 2010 GMC Sierra is part of the second generation of the truck, which includes model years 2007 through 2013. So in the case of your 2010 Sierra you can use the linked video which shows installation in a 2011 Sierra.

At about the :25-second mark the video shows where to find the four blunt cut wires under the dash. Following that the connection process to the P3's 4 wires is detailed.

The 4 wires from the harness included with the P3 will connect to the truck wiring as follows:

RED controller wire connects to the truck LIGHT BLUE wire with WHITE tracer; this carries the brake switch signal.

BLACK controller wire connects to truck RED wire with BLACK tracer; this caries 12V power for the controller.

WHITE ground wires are to be joined together as are the two BLUE wires.

The P3 comes with the butt connectors you'll need to make these wiring connections. It also includes a mounting bracket and hardware.
