Installation of Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2012 Honda Pilot
Question:
Folks, you mention that to install the Curt 2inch receiver on a Honda Pilot that it permanently alters the fascia. Do you have any pictures or video of what that looks like? Also, would like to see how far it protrudes forward of the bumper and if it interferes with obstacle clearance in the front for things like parking next to a curb or crossing a drainage dip as in entering a steep driveway. Thanks.

Installation of the Curt front mount receiver # C31064 for your 2012 Honda Pilot requires that the lower front fascia be permanently removed, not altered. I have included a picture that shows the part that gets removed both on the vehicle and after it has been removed. It is not a part that is visible.
I have included a second picture that shows the hitch once installed on the vehicle. It will hang down maybe 3 inches from the bottom of the front bumper to the bottom of the hitch. I have also included a link to the installation instructions for you.
