Compatibility of Thule # TH903202 EasyFold XT Bike Rack with 1999 Dodge Ram Pickup

Question:

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup. Will the Thule EasyFold 9032 work with my truck? I have an electric bike. Thank you very much for your help.

The Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 bike rack would be a good choice if your bike weighs 65 lbs or less, and your Dodge Ram is equipped with a trailer hitch. If you don't have a hitch already, you can install one using part # 14001.

The EasyFold has an overall capacity of 130 lbs, but Thule doesn't recommend putting a single bike on it that weighs more than 65 lbs. Some electric bikes would allow you to remove the battery pack, which would save some weight. If your bike weighs more than 65 lbs, perhaps removing the battery from your bike would bring the weight to 65 lbs or less.

If your bike fits within the weight parameter, the EasyFold would be an excellent choice. Deadlifting a heavy electric bike isn't something everyone is capable of, but the removable ramp makes loading and unloading very easy.
