It sounds like you want to replace the landing gear on your 2004 Bison Stratus horse trailer. I called my contact at Bulldog and they told me that their replacement motors will only fit Bulldog legs and would not work for your system.

We do offer powered landing gear like the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear, part # UF17-943010, or the Reese Electric Fifth Wheel Landing Gear, part # RP500708. To find out if these systems will work for you, we will need to know the measurement between the clamps.

The clamps mount to the Ultra-Fab and the Bulldog landing gears differently. The Ultra-Fab requires the clamps to sit on top of each weld stop on the landing gear legs. On the Ultra-Fab, the distance between the bottom of your lower clamp and the bottom of your upper clamp must be 19-1/8 inches.

The Reese/Bulldog landing gear requires the upper clamp to sit on top of the upper weld stops and the lower clamps to sit below the lower weld stops. For this setup to work, the distance between the top of the lower clamp and the bottom of the upper clamp must be 17-1/2 inches.

You can check out the attached photo of each of these landing gears that shows the measurements.
