Recommended Method to Determine 5th Wheel Pin Box Towing Capacity

Question:

I have a Reese Evolution hitch on my Rockwood trailer. What is the towing capacity of that hitch? I have the 2 bolts removed because I have a short box truck.

The Reese Revolution pin box is the OEM version of their Sidewinder aftermarket line, four of which we offer. These can have different towing capacities; three are rated for 16K, parts # ST400-5AS16K, # RP61412 and # RP34FR. There will usually be a sticker on the left side of the pin box with its model number and capacity listed. This is the best way to verify the towing capacity of the pin box.
