Does a Ventline Range Hood have to be Completely Removed to Access the Motor

Question:

Hi I am removing the motor and ordering a new one from you, however, I have the blade exposed, but I cannot figure how to pull the wiring apart to take the motor out. Do I have to take the whole range hood off the wall or can I just remove the screen and take out the screws to have it hang down a bit? I have it at this step now, and cannot figure out how to take the blade off of the motor. Does it just pull off? I am sorry I have never done a project like this before and do not want to make a mistake. Thank you for any help in advance.

The RV range hoods that I have played with had the guts easily accessible by completely removing the hood from where they were mounted.

The fan blade should just pull off. The shaft that it attaches to on the motor will probably have a D shape (but not always). If it does then there is only one way it can go back on.

The motors are usually attached with fasteners at the top of the motor so having the range hood completely out is going to make things a lot easier. Take a look at the picture showing the back of a range hood. You can see everything is right there easy to get to.
