Brake Controller and Install Harness Recommendation for a 2004 Chevy Suburban

Question:

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban with a factory Tow package. I need to purchase an electric brake controller to tow a tandem axle camper trailer 4500lbs. I am not sure what else I might need besides the brake controller.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.

All you would need to install this controller is the correct install harness part # 3015-P. I attached an install video that shows this harness being used to install a controller in a 2004 Chevy Suburban for you to check out as well.
