I need a brake controller and harness to connect it. truck has 7-way from factory. is the P2 a good controller?

The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 is an excellent choice both for trailers with electric brakes and also for those with EOH (electric-over-hydraulic) brakes. This controller, and the upgraded P3 version # 90195, are reliable and proven controllers that are highly-rated by our customers that use them. The advantages of the P3 are easier installation and an easier-to-see display.
Either controller will simply plug in to your F-150 at the port located underneath the dash. You'll use part # 22292 to install it, no cutting or splicing required. An installation video is linked for you.
