Bike Adapter Bar Recommendation for Swagman Origninal Bike Carrier

Question:

I purchased a bike rack, item no. S64400 and planned on using it to take my grandchildren cycling and the two of them were in summer camp until this week. I also purchased a hitch for my car from you and today I installed the bike rack into the hitch receiver but I cannot get my bike over the assembly to secure it on the rack. It is a mans bike and has 2 bars across the middle of the bike and I was wondering if there was an adaptor I could purchase to make this work.

Yes, there is an adapter that you can use to fit your bike on the Swagman bike carrier # S64400. I recommend bike adapter bar # 64005. I have linked a video showing how it works. Basically, one end clamps around the handle bar gooseneck and the other end around the seat post. This creates an artificial top frame tube to fit the cradles on the carrier.
