2011 Nissan Pathfinder Troubleshooting Trailer Running Lights not Working
Question:
My 2011 Nissan Pathfinder has always had an issue with no running lights. Problems with trailer have been ruled out. We bought an aftermarket wiring harness made especially for this vehicle Well, went to install tonight and the male grey end does not fit into the female grey end on my vehicle. No where local is an adapter to fix this issue. The vehicle was purchased with the tow package, the running lights have never worked no matter if it was 4 prong or seven. What do I need to do? TIA

There is actually two trailer wiring connectors on your 2011 Nissan Pathfinder. One of them controls the 4-way functions and the other controls the 7-way functions. It is possible that you are trying to install the # 118263 into the wrong one. I attached a picture that shows the correct one to use.
There is also a relay under the hood of your vehicle in the fuse box that controls the trailer running lights. It should be blue like the # C57000. It is possible that this relay is missing or bad. Check all trailer wiring fuses while here too.
