Compatibility of Daystar 3/2 Leveling Kit with Timbren Spring # TTORSEQ in 2004 Toyota 4Runner 4WD
Question:
Will the ttorseq work with a day star leveling kit? I have a 4wd limited with the 3/2 leveling kit but the rear still sags a bit because of the worn out springs.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Jounce Spring System # TTORSEQ, like all such suspension enhancement kits, is intended to be installed on a vehicle whose OEM suspension components are still in good working order. An aftermarket product like the Timbrens, good as they are, do not have the ability to correct for the sag from worn-out springs. They are intended to provide additional support to a functional suspension that is under load.
According to the Daystar website the rear leveling kit for your 2004 Toyota 4Runner is item KT09118BK and this is a polyurethane support spring intended to mount inside the turns of a coil spring, similar to a kit like # CSS-1168F from Super Springs. Since this kit installs within the spring and the Timbren kit # TTORSEQ install in place of the factory bump stops they would not interfere with each other in terms of installation. However, I suggest you confirm your Daystar part number and contact them for their thoughts on using their product along with another aftermarket kit.
