How to Determine What Wires Run to a Trailer Battery

I am trying to hookup a battery to our trailer, but cant remember how. I have 4 wire colors, red,white, green and black. I want to know where each color goes. What goe on Positive terminal and what goes on Negative terminal.

There isn't a wiring color standard that all trailer manufacturers would have used to wire up your battery. I wish there was, as that would make it very easy for me to tell you where each of the wires would need to run. But instead you are going to have to determine the function of each of the wires and then run them to the battery accordingly.
You will have to trace the wires back to where they terminate to know their function.
As a starting point I should mention that black is USUALLY for 12 volt power and white is USUALLY for ground. But in your case that may not be accurate.
