Bike Rack Recommendation for a Jeep to Clear Rear Spare Tire
Question:
Was this bike carrier made to accommodate 1 adult or 2 kids bike only? My Jeep Manual says that the accessory attached to the tire mount should not exceed 38.5kg including the spare tire. The spare tire itself weighs 33kg, the carrier is 5kg, and i have 2 mountain bikes each weighing 15kg. I exceed the specifications.

For your situation you would want to go with a hitch and hitch mounted bike carrier since you would exceed the capacity of your vehicle with the Thule Spare Me part # TH963PRO that you referenced.
I do no know the year of your Jeep so I can't recommend a hitch (most likely you have one), but for a bike rack that should easily clear the spare the Thule Hitching Post Pr hanging bike rack part # TH934XTR would work great. It weighs 40 pounds and can carry up to carry 4 bikes. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
