Outriggers for Manual RV Steps on a 2010 Rockwood Ultralite

Question:

My Flexco stairs broke and I want to order the 8 inch replacement. But my outriggers need replacing too as one of them has bent when the lawnmower man ran into the stairs. Here is my problem. My RV is a 2010 Rockwoood Ultralite by Forest River. MY Outriggers have 1 bolt in the front holding them onto the RV and the back of the Outrigger is at an 90 angle facing down where it is small bolted onto the back of the RV Stair Well. I have looked all over for outriggers with that 90 bend, but no luck? Does Forrest River bend their outriggers to fit, so I would just bend yours or do I need to find the exact part? doing this myself so its not something I can weld or create new holes or bolts? Please help!

It sounds like a step stabilizer such as # JSS-85 could work for your trailer. It bolts on but based on your description you may need to make modifications if you want it to work in the same way as your old ones.
