Is there an Adapter to Use Thule Ladder Rack with a Crossover Toolbox on 2015 GMC Sierra

Question:

Can the Thule 500xt be installed in in conjunction with an over rail tool box without moving the tool box up in front of the or behind the forward upright supports? In other words, can the box be installed over the base plates with a spacer or adaptor? The truck is a 2015 GMC w/ 65inch bed.

There isn't a specific adapter to move the toolbox up over the mounting base of Thule ladder rack # TH500XT. But you could probably fabricate something to be able to mount the box and ladder rack the way you want to.

You could probably bolt something to the bed of the truck, under the toolbox so that the box rests on it, raising it up some.
