Trunk Mount Bike Carrier for a 2013 Nissan Rouge with Spoiler at Top of Rear Hatch
Question:
I currently have a 2013 Nissan Rogue and it has a factory spoiler. Im concerned that the straps to secure the rack will need to go over the spoiler at the top potion of the trunk hatch. Do you think this will be a secure enough fit?

For your 2013 Nissan Rogue with the spoiler at the top of the rear hatch the only 3-bike trunk mount carrier that I recommend is the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3. This rack has an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
