Will the Thule Speedway 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2007 Chevy Cobalt with a Rear Spoiler

I am having a hard time finding a bike rack that fits my car. I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt with Rear Spoiler. I cannot use a roof rack because I have a sun roof. Any help would be greatly appreciated if you have a product that would fit or know of someone who does. I have been looking on line for a few days now.

I spoke with my contact at Thule. She stated that if your 2007 Chevy Cobalt has a floating spoiler (not fully connected to the vehicle and has a gap between the spoiler and the trunk), or an aftermarket spoiler, the Thule Speedway 2, # TH961XTR, will not fit.

There is another option. You could install a trailer hitch and then a hitch mount bike rack. There are quite a few hitches available depending on the model Cobalt you have. I have included a link to the options below. You could then add a 2 bike rack that will fit a Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitch, like the 2 Bike Hitch Mounted Tilting Rack by Swagman, # S63360.
