Helpful Expert Reply:
To mount the Reese fifth wheel hitch and rails in your 2004 Ford F-150, you can use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit, # RP50081. Using custom brackets will nearly cut your installation time in half compared to universal brackets.
You will also want to replace the hardware that attaches the base rails to the frame mounted brackets. For this you can use Replacement Hardware Kit for Fifth Wheel Base Rails, # RP58430.
