Replacement Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box Recommendation To Reduce Chucking

Question:

Pull 09 Coachmen Chaparral 299tsb with chevy 2500hd crew cab short bed. Trailer cap has cut outs for short bed trucks so slider hitch not an issue. I have 3inch lift on truck which causes 5th wheel to chuck and porpoise due to slight angle of trailer whem hooked up. I dont really want to block the trailer or lose the truck lift. Looking at flex air lc328492 to help the issue. The trailer has Lipp 1621, 15,500lbs, CSA Z240.1.2-mpp. Should the change help or another recommendation? Thanks

The Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, part # LC328492 is designed to help drastically reduce chucking just as you described. The internal air bag and rubberized pivoting head allow the pin box to compress which helps really reduce bouncing and jarring.

This pin box is designed to be the replacement for your Lippert 1621 pin box and is a bolt-on installation.

This pin box does have an 18,000 lb weight capacity and will work well for you to create a much smoother ride.
