The first thing you are going to want to do is check to see if two kayaks will fit side by side on the factory roof rack of your 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette. On many vehicles 2 kayaks will just not fit side by side with the available space.

If you determine the factory roof rack will offer enough space for 2 kayaks side by side you could use 2 sets of the Thule DockGlide system, # TH896. The cradle style carrier will minimize the amount of space used on the factory roof rack.

You will also want to consult the vehicle owners manual and/or a GM dealership for the roof and roof rack weight carrying capacity prior to loading.
