Can Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders Be Replaced Once Theyre Installed
Question:
Can the lock cylinders be replaced once installed?

They certainly can. Just hang on to the control key that's included with the # TH450600 lock cylinder kit. This will allow you to remove the lock cylinders and replace them.
To replace a lock cylinder you would first make sure it is unlocked. Then you would insert the change key and carefully pull the lock out of its housing.
Pulling the lock out can be tricky. I find that putting tension on the key while in the lock (while pushing up, down, left, or right on it) and pulling out at the same time seems to work pretty well.
Then to insert the new lock you would insert the change key, push the lock into its housing, and pull the change key out. You may have to hold the face of the lock with your finger while pulling the key out so that it doesn't pull the lock out as well.
