Tekonsha Prodigy P3 No Power When Plugged Back In After First Use

I used this once no problem. Plugged it in a week later and no power. Disconnect both in the box and from the unt. Reconnect. No power. 2014 silverado

Since it worked well for you once, it sounds like you have a blown fuse. I recommend checking fuse 1 in the engine compartment fuse block. This fuse is for the trailer brake controller power. You will want to use a circuit tester, like # PTW2993, to see if the fuse has power.
If a blown fuse isn't the problem, you can use a circuit tester to make sure that power is reaching your brake controller by testing the black wire on the brake controller pigtail. If you have power to the brake controller, then the problem could be with the controller itself. Since you bought the brake controller from us, you would want to contact our customer service department at 1-800-298-8924.
If there is no power to the brake controller the problem is possibly with the truck, and it should be looked at by your Chevy dealer.
