what is the proper lug nut torque for a 1998 Dexter torflex axle that measures 102 inches long, rated at 6000 lb, with 8 lug bolts that are 1/2 inch and coned nuts. the wheel is 16 inch diameter, steel.

Torque value ranges for lug nuts depend primarily on the diameter of the stud and the material the wheel is made of, 1/2-inch studs and a steel wheel in your case. In this instance a torque range of 90 - 120-ft/lbs is appropriate.
