SH Error Message Flashing on Display on Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885
Question:
How do I get back to the numbers

The SH error message on your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 means that the controller senses a short circuit. You can reset the controller by unplugging it from the harness that connects it to your vehicle and waiting about 60-seconds. During this time disconnect your trailer.
You can then plug it back in. If you again see the SH short-circuit message then you'll need to troubleshoot your wiring on the vehicle, looking for the cause of the short circuit in the wiring between the controller and the 7-way. If the SH message does not re-appear until you plug in your trailer, then this tells you the problem is probably in the trailer wiring.
Another potential cause is a dirty or corroded trailer connector on either the vehicle or trailer. Check both the vehicle socket and the trailer plug for dirt, greenish or whitish discoloration or physical damage that could be causing the short.
