Tire Snow Chain Recommendation for 2006 Dodge Caravan w/ 225/60-16 Tires

Question:

I need a recommendation on your snow chains. I need the S class because I am using them on a 2006 Dodge Caravan with the tire size 225/60 R16. My manual calls for a compact chain to be used so I am focusing on the cable type but you have many to choose from and I didnt find the reviews very helpful. I would like an affordable but reliable set with the tensioners and tote included. I appreciate any recommendation you may have. I may not need them but I want to be able to depend on them if necessary. Thank you.

For a quality set of chains that won't break the bank, but will still be effective an easy to put on should you need them, I'd recommend the Thule Standard Snow Chains, part # TH01221102.

The steel D shaped chain links will bite into the snow for increased traction. The chains are Class S for plenty of clearance, include a rubber tensioner and are protected by a whopping 5 year warranty. A hard plastic storage container is provided.

We always recommend doing a dry run when you receive the chains so you're familiar with the installation process. Better to familiarize yourself with the install in your driveway than in a snowdrift on the side of the interstate. I'll link you to some helpful FAQ articles and an install video that I think you'll find helpful.
