Weight Distribution System Recommendation for a GMC Yukon XL and 6 inch Drop Shank

Question:

To keep leveling Yukon XL and camper, I need 6inch drop or more but I couldnt find it. 2inch drop was max. Is there any reason all the stabilizers have just 2inch ? Where can I find 6inch drop stabilzer?

We do offer a way to use a weight distribution system that requires 8 inches of drop for the trailer to be towed level. First you will need to pick out the correct system though.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.

Once you know your loaded tongue weight check out the link I attached that has all of the systems we carry that do no include a shank. Select your tongue weight from the filters and the correct systems will be listed.

For a shank that will give you 7 inches of drop you would then want the part # C17122 to go along with the system you picked out.
