Recommended 12 Volt Outlet Kit For Brake Pro Wireless System
Question:
When my brake pro is tested using the test button it works, but when in the car and hooked to the unit it does not. I have always had trouble with it quitting after 1 1/2 hours of a 2 hour trip if I would go out and disconnect and reconnect it would work the rest of the trip Iwas told by brake pro people it was because my cigg litter wasnt powerful enough. So I bought a new one, and it did seem to do the trick for a while, but then stopped working all together. I have recently bought a new car, all new base plate and wiring. Havent tried it yet, do you think it will work?

If you have a new Brake Pro you would have the wireless transmitter and receiver in the package, but I have a solution that will work great for you.
I recommend the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, part # RM-9332. This is a kit that bypasses the cigarette lighter in the vehicle by attaching to the battery directly. It has a plug on the other end and you plug the Brake Pro into that.
