How to Make a 7-Way to 5-Way Adapter for Trailer with Separate Turn Signals
Question:
I have a vehicle with 7-pin wiring and I have a trailer with 5-pin wiring where signal lights have separate wire and brake has separate wire. Is there an adaptor that allows me to connect these two without changing the wiring on one or the other?

I can show you how to build an adapter for what you are trying to do, but there isn't one pre-made that we carry.
You will need a trailer side 7-way like # H20042, a signal converter # C56196, and a vehicle side 5-way # HM47900.
Using the labels on the converter box you will need to wire the input side of it to the 7-way, and then wire the output side of it to the 5-way and you will have made an adapter to do what you are looking to do.
