Can Bikes be Carried on the Front of a 2007 Jeep Liberty
Question:
Hi We are looking for a front bike carrier for two bikes for our 2007 jeep liberty. Do you have such a thing? Or do we need to install a front receiver hitch and get a plug in hitch for that?

The only way to carry bikes at the front of a vehicle is to use a front mount hitch receiver. Curt hitch # C31022 is the only front mount option for the 2007 Jeep Liberty and it will only work with 4-wheel drive models. Then for a bike carrier you can use the Swagman Trailhead # S63360. It holds 2 bikes and the rise in the shank will help with ground clearance.
Please note that carrying bikes at the front of a vehicle can reduce driver visibility and air flow to the motor. The bikes can also block the vehicle's front lights.
If you are looking to carry bikes on the front because you will be towing a trailer then I recommend using multipurpose ball mount # D210. You would use the ball mount part to tow the trailer and the receiver part above it to carry a hitch mount bike rack and bikes. The Trailhead will fit this ball mount as well.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wife's bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my son's bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
