Side Mount Trailer Jack Recommendation with 15 inch Travel
Question:
I am looking to replace a swivel jack on a BoatMate Trailer. The Fulton 1600 that was on it has a crack in the plastic top cap causing the gear to slip and it will not longer function. I am looking to replace it with a heavier duty swivel jack with a higher capacity with heavy duty gearing and 15inch of travel. I dont have to have a wheel on the bottom, but this would be nice. I see your Dutton-Lainson Trailer Jack - DL22689 Can you recommend a jack for me? The boat that is on the trailer is a 2001 Air Nautique and the motor is in the middle of the boat so the tongue weight is pretty hefty, although I have not measured the actual load on the tongue. Thanks, David Daniel

Higher capacity jacks don't usually have wheels on them. If you are looking for a side mount jack with a higher capacity with 15 inches of travel the Dutton Lainson # DL22689 would be your best bet.
