Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for Vehicle with Spoiler

Question:

I recently bought a 2008 Saturn Vue with a spoiler at the top of the rear door. The trunk mount bike rack I have been using on my previous vehicle has straps that attach at the top, and hooking them to the spoiler does not seem adequate to hold the weight of the two road bikes I usually carry. The models I have seen on your website that are advertised as suitable for my new Saturn also seem to attach at the same point on the spoiler. Is there a model that does not need to be hooked to the spoiler for my bikes? I am a small woman with a small bike and need the bars that support the bikes to be around 12-13 inches apart. Thank you.

If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
