How to Install a Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch in the Bed of a 2014 Ram 2500 with Hitch Prep

Good morning, Im looking for a solution for finding a sliding 5th wheel hitch for my Ram 2500 MegaCab with the factory prep package. I found the BandW Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs and wonder if there is a way to utilize the gooseneck hitch puck in the truck for this, or is there some sort of BandW adapter that Ill need to make this hitch work. Thank you!

The only way you will be able to install a slider hitch in the bed of your 2014 Ram 2500 with a short bed will be to first install a rail kit adapter like the Curt part # C16022 so that you can install a slider hitch like the Curt Q24k Slider Hitch part # C16546. This adapter can only be used with Curt hitches.

If you have a non-Curt hitch that you would rather tow with you would want the # RP30154 instead.
