Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller on a 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage with 4-Way
Question:
I have a 2004 Ford Hertage with a after market 4 pin installed my question is will the 37815 work to hook to my 7pin on my trailer which has trailer brakes?

The part # 37185 will convert your 4-way to a 7-way for the trailer light functions, but it would require a few more things to also function your trailer brakes.
Instead of the # 37185 you would want the install harness part # 3035-P to install a Tekonsha brake controller and then the part # 118242 to convert the 4-way with a 7-way.
You will also need a brake controller. For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
