Can the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk # CC-275 Be Used on a Pop Up Camper
Question:
How much extra weight will this add to a pop up camper tongue? We also own a 2010 Town and Country we added a receiver hitch to it.

The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk # CC-275 is designed to fit on A-frame trailers. The typical A-frame is at a 50 degree angle and pretty much all A-frames are going to be able to accept the carrier. It is possible that if there are jacks or propane tanks mounted on the front of the A-frame it could interfere with the installation of the Bike Bunk.
The Bike Bunk itself weighs about 45 pounds and has a 100 pound capacity for the bike carrier and bikes. So if loaded to capacity that would be 145 pounds more at the front of the trailer. The actual weight increase on the tongue would be slightly less though because the added weight is further back on the A-frame.
Another option is to use multi-purpose ball mount # D210 (provided the trailer hitch you have for your Town & Country has a 2 inch receiver opening). This will allow you to tow the trailer with the ball mount part and carry bikes in the upper receiver. Turning radius can be negatively affected so be sure to put the shortest bike closest to the trailer.
