Question:
Good Day, I have purchased and installed Part numbers #20119, 90195, and 22292 on my 2014 F-150. The problem I am having is my break controller is not powering down it stays powered on. I have installed similar to the directions but followed the videos because they are easier to understand.

First, thank you very much for all your recent purchases from etrailer.com, which include a Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.
This unit has a built-in power-saving-mode delay that shuts off the display if there has been no activity for at least 15 minutes. In power saving mode the screen will be blank.
You can make sure your P3 is working correctly and powering down by leaving the vehicle for about 25 to 30 minutes. Then, without touching the truck in any way, look inside at the display. After the 30-minutes of sitting completely still with no activity the display should be blank. You can also reset the unit by unplugging it from the harness and letting it sit for 10 minutes before you re-connect it.
Just opening the door and sitting in the truck could re-activate the unit since the accelerometer is quite sensitive to any motion.
