The Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6356B fits almost every type of roof rack crossbar including the factory-installed types on your 2013 Dodge Durango Citadel. If the front crossbar is movable slide it as far forward as it can go and then secure it in that position. You'll just want to measure their front-to-back spread by measuring from the center of one to the center of the other.
As long as the center-to-center distance measures at least 23-5/8-inches and not more than 35-3/8-inches then the box will fit your rack. If your Durango does not have a factory roof rack please let me know what type of roof configuration it has.
You can check the rear hatch clearance at the box by measuring from the center of the front crossbar back to the seam where the roof and hatch meet. If that distance is at least 41-7/8-inches then you'll be able to fully open the hatch without it touching the box. The linked diagram illustrates this dimension.
Often with a rooftop cargo carrier our customers choose a tire step like # HE4040 to make it easier to get up to the box for loading and unloading. This Topline steps comes fully-assembled, just slips over a tire when you need it for cargo access and then folds up for easy storage in the vehicle. We also offer the handy Telesteps Folding Step # TE97FR which comes fully assembled and that pops open whenever you need the extra foot of reach that it provides for loading and unloading your cargo box.
You'll want to check your Durango's manual for any information about its roof weight capacity. Keep in mind that the 35-lb weight of the Force Medium also counts against that roof capacity. So if for example your manual states the roof can handle 125-lbs, then after you subtract the box's 35-lb weight you'll still have a remaining cargo weight capacity of 90-lbs.
