Installing Voyager XP in 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
I was about to install my good old Voyager XP into my 2014 Silverado 1500. I have the tow package but see GM shorted me the pigtail. I see you have an adapter harness 3016 that is available to make the connection. My Voyager XP does not have a plug in just 4 wires. Heavy gauge Blue and Black on the outsides and a lighter white and red in the center positions. When I get the harness, do I just match wire colors for the installation? My installation sheet shows different wire matches for different vehicle brands but that is with factory harness. Thanks

To install your Tekonsha Voyager XP in your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, you will use the adapter harness # 3016-S. What you will want to do is match the wires on the harness to the wires on your brake controller color-for-color. The other end of the adapter will plug into your Silverado. You will find the plug under the dash, to the left of the steering column, just above the carpet.
I have attached the installation instructions for this adapter for you.
