To find the correct ball mount for your 2008 Toyota Sienna and 2003 Coleman Santa Fe tent trailer, there are a couple of measurements you will need to take.
First, Measure the hitch height from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on the trailer hitch. Make sure your van is parked on level ground.
Next, measure the trailer coupler height from the ground to the bottom of the trailers coupler. Again, the measurement is most accurate when on level ground. The trailer will also need to be level.
If the hitch height is higher than the coupler height, the difference is the amount of drop you will need. If the coupler is higher, the difference is the amount of rise you will need. Find a ball mount with a rise or drop closest to the difference. Once you have found the rise or drop, you will be able to get the correct ball mount.
