Would Darby # DTA944-968-924 Extend-A-Roof Work for Carrying Canoe on 2013 Ford F150

I have a 2013 fx4 super crew cab with a sun roof. Wanting to transport our canoe for camping. Would the Darby Extend - A - truck kayak carrier and hitch mounted load extender and single bar roof rack , work for us? Thanks

The Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrying system, part # DTA944-968-924 could potentially be a great choice for carrying your canoe. You wouldn't want the 'feet' of the crossbars sitting on the glass of the sunroof. The feet are about 6 inches wide, and in the provided photo, you can see how they'd sit on the vehicle roof. If you can avoid the sunroof, and the 1/2 the weight of the canoe won't exceed the roof capacity of the truck (check the owner's manual or with Ford), this would be an excellent choice.
