Recommended Trailer Hitch For 1991 Wilderness Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

We have an older 5th wheel camper 1991 Wilderness 27 that we want to pull our kayaks with. Were looking at pulling a trailer to haul them. We need something that would fit a 4inch square hitch. Is that something you would have, and how much $ ?

We offer one hitch that is designed to fit a 4 inch square motorhome or RV bumper. It is the Ultra-Fab 2 inch Motor Home Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # UF35-946402.

This hitch has a 2 inch receiver opening and has a gross trailer weight capacity of 3,500 lbs. The maximum tongue weight capacity for this hitch is 350 lbs. You will want to make sure you do not exceed the tongue weight and towing weight capacity for the bumper on your trailer.

We do not recommend towing two trailers at once because the tongue weight of the second trailer will be applied to the rear of the fifth wheel causing more of the weight of the fifth wheel to be behind the rear axle, and can affect the overall handling and cause trailer sway affected.

The prices of any of the items we offer are listed on the product page on our website.
