Where is the best mounting location for this controller on a 2013 Tacoma

When we installed the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller # 90885 on a 2012 Toyota Tacoma we found the best mounting location to be on the dash at the left bottom near the trunk latch and the fuse box.
