Trailer Wheel and Tire to Replace Old Tubed Tires on Welding Trailer

Question:

We have a trailer mounted welder with an old set of 2 steel rims that require tubes, we want to replace the rims to get away from the tubes, the tires are 215/75R15, it appears the pattern to be 5 x 5inch with a 3inch center, the dimension of the rim to the outside of the rim is 6 1/2inch and the dimension from the inside of the rim to where it mounts on the hub is 4 1/8, what is the correct rim?

We offer several options in a pre-mounted ST205/75-15 trailer tire and 5-on-5-inch wheel and all can be seen on the included link. You can choose from either bias ply or radial tire construction in a Load range C rating on either a silver or white wheel.

For example, part # TA63ZR is a silver 5-on-5 bolt pattern wheel fitted with a bias ply tire in Load Range C (rated for 1820-lbs at 50-psi pressure). This has a 3.19-inch pilot hole and zero offset. Part # TA43ZR is a silver mod wheel with a radial tire and an "M" speed rating, 81-mph maximum. This also has a 3.19-inch pilot hole and zero offset.

Linked articles will help you confirm your wheel bolt pattern and answer any tire-related questions you might have. Always be sure to use only trailer-rated tires (never passenger car tires) and to inflate them to the full psi pressure noted on the tire sidewall.
