Anytime you are going to haul cargo on the roof of a vehicle, you do need to find out the weight capacity of your roof. You can check the owners manual or contact the car dealer for the roof weight capacity that is allowed for your 2007 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab.

The Thule M.O.A.B. Roof Top Cargo Carrier, # TH690, is a universal design roof rack that fits most roof top racks. If the Toyota Tacoma Stowaway roof rack has crossbars that run side to side, and the crossbars can be positioned 16 inches minimum to 28 inches maximum between them then it will attach to your vehicle. The mounting brackets for the cargo carrier will attach to most crossbars up to 4 inches wide.

I am sending a link with the instructions for the Thule carrier which will show how it attaches to the crossbars.

If your Stowaway roof rack does not have crossbars, then you would need to use the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401, 53" WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711420, as well as locks # TH450400. This rack attaches to the side rails of your vehicle. It will give you the crossbars needed for the Thule M.O.A.B. Roof Top Cargo Carrier, # TH690, to work properly.
