Comparing Diversi-Tech Ball Mounts # DTALBM6800 and # DTALBM6600

DTALBM6600 DTALBM6600 Self-Locking, Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount - 2 Chrome Balls - 6inch Drop, 7inch Rise - 10K DTALBM6800 DTALBM6800 Self-Locking, Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount - 2 Chrome Balls - 8inch Drop, 9inch Rise - 10K I own a 2011 Ford F150 FX2 stock height and tires. Which hitch would be a better application? I would think the 6inch ... Thanks

The two ball mounts that you referenced are basically the exact same ball mount with the exception that the # DTALBM6800 can do an 8 inch drop and a 9 inch rise and the # DTALBM6600 can do a 6 inch drop and a 7 inch rise.

I would think you would be just fine with the 6 inch drop version, but that really depends on the height of the trailers you plan on towing. I attached a help article that details how to determine how much rise/drop you would need to tow a trailer level.
