Adding Fog and Reverse Lights to ISI-1185 Socket
Question:
We have trailers that are currently have ISO-1185 and ISO-7638 sockets at the front. We want to change the rear lights to include fog and reverse. Is the a way to add fog and reverse to the existing ISO-1185 socket? Or can we add the ISO-3731 socket and still use the same harness?

You may be able to add either the fog lamps or the reverse lights -- but not both -- using the center pin on your current socket. That is, as long as the center pin isn't being used on both the trailer and the truck. To add the other function you will need a separate connection since all other pins are being used.
