Side Mounted Trailer Jack Recommendation for a Trailer for Good Ground Clearance
Question:
Yes I have a 2016 r-pod 178 and my problem is the jack top crank extends to far out from the bottom is there in jacks that leaves about 2 inch sticking out after you are connected to the hitch. Our curb is about 6 inch high and when I back in I hit the bottom of the jack. Our camper is around 3200 lbs and your recomandations would be greatly appreciated to help me out with price and model for this camper. Thanks

From the pictures I found of your 2016 r-pod 178 trailer it looks like you have an A-frame jack like the part # BD155032 that you referenced. If ground clearance is a problem with this jack one solution you have would be to replace the jack with one that attaches to the side of the trailer frame and can swivel.
The Pipe Mount Swivil Jack part # DL22685 uses a pipe mount that would get welded to your trailer frame and would allow the jack to swivel up and out of the way when not in use.
